\u00c4ntligen, efter ett l\u00e5ngt l\u00e5ngt uppeh\u00e5ll med pandemin mm, s\u00e5 \u00e4r det nu klart att vi kan erbjuda en internationell kurs i Sverige igen!\u00a0I september kommer Martyn Neal, fr\u00e5n Frankrike tillbaka till Sverige.\u00a0Han har studerat med TKV Desikachar under 30 \u00e5r och och \u00e4r en erfaren yogal\u00e4rare och \u00a0yogal\u00e4rarutbildare. Ett av hans fr\u00e4msta omr\u00e5den \u00e4r Yoga Sutra och Vedisk chanting. Martyn Neal \u00e4r i dag en av f\u00e5 av TKV Desikachars elever som fortfarande \u00e4r aktiv och undervisar. Ni som har haft f\u00f6rm\u00e5nen att lyssna till honom vet hur levande hans undervisning \u00e4r, fylld av vardagliga exempel och anekdoter. Det kommer att bli en riktigt fin kurs, det \u00e4r vi \u00f6vertygade om!<\/p>\n

Kursen h\u00e5lls i Karlstad dit det \u00e4r mindre \u00e4n 3 timmar t\u00e5gresa fr\u00e5n Stockholm. H\u00e4r har vi f\u00e5tt tag p\u00e5 en fantastisk kurslokal, Holken i Mariebergsskogen, som ligger natursk\u00f6nt ca 15 min g\u00e5ngavst\u00e5nd fr\u00e5n centrum.<\/p>\n

Kursen h\u00e5lls 12-14 september, (heldag fredag + l\u00f6rdag och halvdag s\u00f6ndag). \u00c4mnet f\u00f6r kursen \u00e4r Bhagavad Gita och Yogasutra, likheter och skillnader. The Yoga S\u00fbtra and the Bhagavad G\u00eet\u00e2 are two major texts of the Indian continent. More or less contemporary, around the beginning of our era, their roots are steeped in the same philosophical earth. Despite this shared compost fertile to spirituality and the questioning of life\u2019s mysteries, there are many differences. And equally numerous links. It is often the angle that each text adopts which throws a different light on similar subjects: knowledge, action, detachment, meditation, the divine, freedom\u2026<\/p>\n

TKV Desikachar, as a yoga teacher, based much of his teaching on Patanjali\u2019s great work. However, he would often quote from the G\u00eet\u00e2 in order to enlarge understanding of the concepts which Patanjali presents in such a concise way that commentary is always necessary. On the other hand, the Bhagavad G\u00eet\u00e2 may be read without reference to a commentator.<\/p>\n

As a student of Desikachar, I wish to share with you the simple, subtle and refined teaching that I have received in relation to these two magnificent texts.<\/p>\n

Inspired by his example, I will move regularly throughout the course from lectures to physical practice and breathing. This alternating method is conducive to assimilation without indigestion. Also chanting will enable us to stretch to another level of integration through a mysterious link to the source of these great texts. Your questions will equally enhance learning together.<\/p>\n

Martyn Neal is a yoga teacher from Southern France. He is a teacher trainer for the French Institute of Yoga.<\/p>\n
Born in England, he moved to Narbonne in 1977 and created his own Yoga school where he has been teaching French and European students ever since. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n He became a student of TKV Desikachar in 1983.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n As a musician, he showed an interest in vedic chanting and has already accompanied TKV Desikachar on two cassettes intended for western audiences : \u201cAn Introduction to Vedic Chanting\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><\/i>and the \u201cYogaganjalisaram\u201d. <\/i>He has recorded a double CD of the Yoga S\u00fbtra and two CD with songs of his own composition and various styles of music from rock and roll to vedic chanting\u00a0!
